Our favourite Fast Food Canteen has been closed for the past 5 weeks for a total make over. From the ceiling, to the walls, tables & chairs, everything has been perfectly planned and put in place to give our staffs and students a more pleasant and conducive dining environment. Looking up at the ceiling, you can see a nice flow of the blue sky and puffy white clouds. More plants are added to give the place a more "resort" and relax feel to the place. Now, you can chill out on the comfy chairs with friends during break times and enjoy MobileTV on the large LCD TV.
The exterior of McDonald's was given a new look too. You'll be attracted by the bright neon yellow lights at McDonald's once you enter the fast food canteen. With the new dispenser at the side, you can now get your condiments and serviette without having the need to ask for it from the counter staff.
What are you waiting for? Come down to the newly renovated Fast Food Canteen now!

MIT in 2ndLife
A few of our students has designed and created a MIT space within Second Life that represents the MIT virtual campus learning space. If you are into 2ndLife, drop by @ Moa 41,213,80 and learn more about the projects on display. MIT Bourne, our own avatar, will be on hand to welcome you !

The maze and ramp on the platform to the right of the building is currently being used for testing mixed reality applications. What's "Mixed Reality" ?! Well, think of it as being able to use a XBox controller to guide a virtual ball through the maze. You got the idea ?

Explore the excitments of MIT in SecondLife today!!~
