JAE, JPAE, JPSAE & DAE !!!

Around this period, many students thinking about coming to the polytechnics are anticipating their results and starting to think about the options that are available to them. I am sure current students have also gone through this experience before and it can be quite a journey. Many questions naturally arise. What are the many acronyms that gets tossed around: JAE, JPAE, JPSAE & DAE. Ask the 4 Ws. Who, What, When and Where ?

Here is my VERY brief attempt at making sense of these acronyms and aid in pointing any person in need to the right place, hopefully :). Most of these information are extracted from the Joint Polytechnic Portal & MOE site. Please refer to this portal for detailed information.

Hi Rethnaraj, if you go the JPAE website and sign up for a new JPAE account, you can use the NRIC/FIN textbox to enter your Malaysian NRIC. Eg. Malaysian NRIC - 900720015861.

Hope that answers your question.

All the Best
